Liftgate Installation

We are proud to call our selves a distributor for all of the liftgate manufacturers in North America. With that said, we can offer you an array of liftgate options for small jobs, big jobs and all the ones in between. If you're not sure what type of gate you need, we can work with you to find the best solution.

Once a gate has been chosen, we will order the gate. Some of our manufacturers supply gates locally and others require shipment from their manufacturing facilities. Upon receipt of both the gate and truck, the gate will be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. We will thoroughly inspect the gate upon completion to ensure that it's running up to spec.

When you come to pick up the truck with your new gate installed, we will perform a demonstration of how the gate works along with each of the features of your specific gate. We request that you come in for a complimentary preventative maintenance visit 6 to 8 weeks after the install. Click here to get a quote on your new liftgate today!

Preventative Maintenance

The best way to make your liftgate last is to stay up-to-date with preventative maintenacne (PM). PM's are a basic check up for your gate to ensure that everything is running properly and functioning to the best of it's ability. We recommend 3 to 4 PM's a year, but it will vary based on how much your gate is used day to day.

A PM consists of our team checking that all systems, electrical & hydraulic, are functioning properly. We grease and lube all pivot points. Inspect pins, bearings, arms, rollers, chains, cables and cylinders for wear and tear. From there we will recommend any repairs that may need to be done or send you on your way.

Cylinder Rebuild & Repair

Not all leaking cylinders need to be replaced. Most cylinders can be opened, honed and have the internal seals replaced for a fraction of the cost. Typically, if a cylinder has previously been rebuilt we recommend replacing the cylinder. Bring in your cylinder, on or off your liftgate, and we'll recommend the best solution for you!

Power Unit Rebuild & Repair

When the power unit (or pump) on a liftgate is failing, it can cause your system to lag and not function properly. We begin by flushing the system to clear the unit of any debris. From there we pressure test and inspect the power unit to find the root of the issue. Pumps are thoroughly cleaned and parts are replaced as needed to return the unit to it's full capability.

Pressure Testing

Having one of those feelings that your power unit or pump may not be running like it's supposed to? Bring it in and have us look it over. We'll flush the system and hook it up to our gauges to ensure that you're getting the best pressure out of your unit.

Emergency Road Call

When you're out making a delivery and your liftgate goes down, but refuses to go back up call the experts in to find a solution. We will try to diagnose the issue with you over the phone so that we can bring any parts needed to repair the gate onsite.

Some situations may require more extensive repairs. At that point our team will attempt to get the gate into a secure raised or stowed position for transport to our shop. There is an initial fee for all road calls with a per mile charge for locations over 50 miles round trip from our shop. All fees will be discussed prior to sending our team out.
