Shop Foreman

As a family owned business, where everyone’s contributions are important, we’re looking to hire a shop foreman to take on a pivitol role in the company. This position is the best fit for someone with an array of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge, familiarity in liftgates and ability to grow and manage the shop and repair technicians.

Position is for a working supervisor in a liftgate shop setting, responsible for overseeing daily operations & schedule, supervising and training staff, and ensuring the complete, efficient and safe execution of work tasks.

Entry Level Shop Technician

We are a close-knit, family owned business where everyone’s contributions are important. This position is entry level and is a great fit for someone interested in on-the-job training leading to an array of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge.

The job is performed in a shop environment with exposure to cleaning agents, grease, and soils along with each season’s temperature changes.

Position involves, but is not limited to, shop clean up, diagnosis of liftgate issues, rebuilding of hydraulic pumps and cylinders, welding, liftgate installation, preventative maintenance inspections, maintaining shop organization and picking up parts and supplies.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Position is entry level and wage begins at $15/hr with lots of room to grow from there.

Shipping & Receiving ASSOCIATE

We are a small, family-owned company with an 80 year history, seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will manage the shipment, drop shipment and receipt of all liftgate parts, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with ownership, customer service representatives and liftgate manufacturers involved in the shipping and receiving process.

Your primary responsibilities, listed below, will include packing, shipping, receiving, monitoring and updating the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will promptly receive shipments and sort and stock parts, perform inventory checks and confirm accurate counts.

A positive attitude is essential as you will engage with customers, vendors and drivers, providing excellent service and support. Additionally, you will provide will call support for the parts department as needed, ensuring that orders are correct, paid for and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

  • Collaborate and communicate with manufacturers, customer service representatives, ownership, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.

  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Maintain inventory availability and work with ownership on stock orders.

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and organized shipping area and workspace.

  • Promptly unload deliveries, sort and stock receivables.

  • Engage with customers, manufacturers, co-workers and drivers with a positive attitude.

  • Provide additional backup support for the parts or service departments as needed.

  • Complete daily outbound shipping of products and packages; notify recipients accordingly.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear interactions with team members and management.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently.

  • Comfortable standing for long periods.

  • Ability to retrieve product from inventory shelving, both high and low.

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Experience with Quickbooks, ShipStation, Sheets and Excel are a plus.

  • Bilingual skills are also a plus

Consistent Hours:

  • Full Time - 40hrs Per Week

  • Monday – Friday, 7AM – 4PM

Pay:

  • $15-$18/hr (based on experience)
