TuckUnder Series Liftgates – Since these liftgates can be stowed folded, they allow for unrestricted access to the vehicle’s doorway. Anthony Liftgates makes multiple models of their TuckUnder liftgates for various tilt requirements as well as light, medium, and heavy-duty work requirements.
RalTrac Series Liftgates – This is a chain-driven hydraulic lift gate that performs well in heavy-duty applications including dock loading, pallet deliver, wheeled cart delivery, and more. They move straight up and down, and function well for vehicles with low bed heights, but are not typically intended to be installed on trailers.
Utility Liftgates – Anthony makes two models of utility liftgates, both of which are designed with pickups and utility trucks in mind. That said, they can also work for cube vans, stake bed trucks, and other truck beds. The liftgate is mounted to vertical posts at the rear edge of the truck, essentially turning the tailgate into a lift gate. For cube vans or box trucks, the utility liftgate simply goes behind the cargo area.
Conventional Liftgates – This is a good option for stake bed trucks. Conventional liftgates are similar to the TuckUnder models except that they stow vertically at the rear of the vehicle instead of going underneath the vehicle. This makes conventional liftgates an option for vehicles that don’t have room to tuck the liftgate underneath the bed.
